The 2003 story

"There were just too many to choose from," Shonda Sue says about the double-length CD in 2003. "I had a lot of good material to choose from and I liked them all."

Shonda Sue performed covers of songs by country artists like Shania Twain, Reba McEntire, Martina McBride and of contemporary Christian artists like Jaci Velasquez and Rebecca St. James at her shows in 2003. The country favorites are
featured on the new LIVE album while contemporary Christian favorites are available on her No Greater Love project.

"The shows from 2003 gave Shonda Sue the opportunity to showcase her versatility as both a country and a contemporary Christian artist," says David C. Lannan, president of Emerald Jukebox, her promotions company. "Shonda Sue wants to provide her fans - whether they are into country or more inspirational music - with a quality performance. Her goals for the future include adding more pop music to her repertoire."

The album will be the fourth on her own independent studio label, SPirit Productions Studio, a joint venture between Shonda Sue and her grandfather Paul Youkey. Using technology similar to the major studios, Paul has worked meticulously to ensure Shonda Sue's albums have the highest quality sound possible.
Her seventh album in a growing roster, Shonda Sue LIVE! 2003 Favorites will soon be available on this, her official website, as well as at shows and select stores in Central Indiana.

"Shonda Sue's management team is already planning future projects. One goal is to obtain new original material for her to perform at shows and feature on future albums," David says. "Building a following of fans, exploring new merchandise and adding new venues to her schedule are all objectives for 2004."
