My shows wouldn’t be as successful as they are if it weren’t for the help of some very talented and special people.
My Mom
My mom has been responsible for booking my shows since I started. It keeps her very busy. She also helps run my sales table, when she’s not in the audience showing her support. She’s one of my biggest fans and helps wherever she is needed.
My Dad
My dad not only serves as my chief engineer he also takes care of all the financial and boring business stuff. We work together to make sure I have the best lineup possible for each show. (He’s also the driver and equipment manager - making sure we have everything we need to pull off a quality show.)
Grandma Sue and Grandpa Paul
Where can I start? They have not only helped finance my albums, making sacrifices like my parents have, they also help wherever they are needed. Most of the time you will find Grandma Sue at the sales table or videotaping my show. Grandpa Paul is usually wandering around checking out the sound levels when he’s not helping run sound with my dad.
David
Since he started helping me in 2001, David has done whatever he could to help get my name out there. He sends media releases to newspapers, radio and TV stations. He approaches media at fairs and festivals, trying to arrange interviews. He designed this website, my fan club site, the artwork for four of my last 7 albums and any other materials he felt was needed to promote me. He helps with distribution and designs merchandise, basically he pitches in wherever he is needed - including helping with set up and tear down. He’s the guy you will see wandering around the stage taking my picture, and maybe your picture, for use in marketing on my sites, album covers ...
Friends and Family - Honorary Crew Members
My friends and family are very important to me. It means a lot when they come to my shows. My Grandpa Jim and Grandma Mary Martin try to make it to every show. With school and other activities, my friends can’t always make it but I know they are with me in spirit. When he comes to my shows, my brother Cody helps with the spotlight and occasionally with lugging equipment around. My 'lil Sis Cara is always a big help when she comes to my shows.
